How to Make Baby-Friendly Salmon Luncheon
1. Prepare the Salmon
If desired, lightly marinate the minced salmon with a little lemon juice to help reduce the fishy smell. Mix well and set aside briefly.
2. Mix the Seasonings
Add 1 tsp Hoppa Shiitake Mushroom Powder and 1 tsp Hoppa Chicken Vegetable Powder to the minced salmon. Mix well until evenly combined.
3. Add Flour & Egg
Add 10g of all-purpose flour and mix well. Crack in 1 egg and continue mixing until the mixture becomes smooth and well combined.
4. Add the Vegetables
Add the minced carrot and 1 tsp Hoppa Spinach Powder. Mix thoroughly until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
5. Prepare the Mould
Lightly grease a heat-safe mould to make it easier to unmould the luncheon after steaming.
6. Transfer & Remove Air Bubbles
Transfer the mixture into the mould and gently tap the mould on the counter to release any trapped air bubbles.
7. Cover & Poke Holes
Cover the top with cling wrap and carefully poke a few small holes with a fork to allow steam to circulate.
8. Steam
Place the mould into a steamer and steam over high heat for about 20 minutes, or until fully cooked through.
9. Cool & Unmould
Let it cool slightly before gently removing the luncheon from the mould.
10. Slice & Serve
Slice into your preferred shape or thickness according to your baby's eating stage.
